Wellness in the Wild: “Skills for Trail and Soul”
Learn, explore, and unwind—all in one day. This full day workshop blends outdoor adventure and wellness with immersive, hands-on learning to help you enjoy the wilderness just a wee bit more.
Spend the day surrounded by trees, fresh air, and good company as we explore practical, confidence-boosting topics, pause to enjoy a peaceful hike deep in the woods, and wind down with a gentle, refreshing Happy Hips Restorative session to relax, stretch and reconnect.

9:30 - 10:00am - Arrival & Welcome
10:00 - 10:45am - Dangerous Plants & Wildlife in Ontario Activity
10:45 - 12:00 - Guided Hike (~5km) with helpful tidbits on safety on the trail
12:00 - 12:15 - Break
12:15 - 1:15 - Fire Building Skills (fire starting methods, wood processing, building techniques + nature tinder sources)
1:15 - 1:45 - Lunch & Activity
1:45 - 2:15 - Bear Aware Training
2:15 - 2:30 - Break
2:30 - 3:30 - Gentle "Happy Hips" yoga class - come back to body and mind
3:45 - 4:00PM - Closing Circle & Final Remarks
