This extended restorative practice is designed to support nervous system regulation through safety, slowness, and sensation.
Using fully supported restorative postures, gentle breath guidance, and intentional hands-on massage, the body is invited out of habitual holding and into deeper states of rest. Touch is offered as a steady, attuned presence — helping the nervous system orient toward support and ease.
The focus of this class is not on stretching or performance, but on listening. On reconnecting with internal cues, sensory awareness, and the felt experience of being held. There is no expectation to change anything — only an invitation to notice and allow.
We will close with a period of silent meditation, offering time for integration as the nervous system settles and the effects of the practice continue to unfold.
A quiet, embodied return to balance and regulation.
ABOUT REBECCA:
Rebecca’s relationship with yoga began in 2010 while attending college in Ottawa. From her first class, she felt drawn to something deeper than the physical practice — a quiet but powerful sense of transformation that stayed with her. What followed was years of self-exploration through various styles of yoga and meditation, alongside time spent living and traveling within intentional and spiritual communities.
Her path eventually led her to Hawaii, and later back to Canada, where she lived off-grid at Anuttara Ashram in Northern British Columbia. There, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training within a traditional, lineage-rooted environment grounded in Hatha yoga, tantra, meditation, and Bhakti yoga. Living in community for six months, she continued to deepen her practice through daily sadhana, service, and the lived experience of karma and devotional yoga.
After her training, Rebecca began teaching in multiple communities across British Columbia before returning to Ontario, where she has offered classes in Collingwood and surrounding areas.
Her intention is to support students in feeling safe within their bodies, using mindful postures, breath, and intentional, caring touch to encourage nervous system regulation, softening, and rest — creating space to feel supported, held, and at ease.
